So for the first time in high school and my last year of high school I'm in musical theatre, which is fun despite how the other kids act. I got to perform in the musical A Chorus line which was real fun and I got to go see the musical Grease at the Kravis Center which was nice. I played the part of Mike, which for obvious reasons was changed to Michelle. I was the boastful bigger sister who always thought she could do better than her little sister ( "I can do that" my singing number) It was fun working with a choreographer and singing at the same time....which I definitely don't plan on pursuing.
My favorite part of the show of course was my part, but also the end where we have this big dance number and we're all in gold vest, hats, and bows on our necks and we sing the so very familiar and famous song "One singular sensation every little step she takes....One! thrilling combination every move that she makes" and at the very end when were singing: "Shes the one!" we do a chorus line kick. it was great and I will never forget it!
